Istanbul Park Circuit Map & Guide
One of the most celebrated returns to the F1 calendar in recent seasons is the Turkish Grand Prix. Istanbul Park is a remarkable circuit, purpose built on the Asian side of Istanbul with sweeping corners, dramatic elevation changes and one of the most iconic stretches of tarmac in the sport. F1 cars navigate the legendary Turn 8, a vast four apex left hander that demands commitment and precision from even the most experienced drivers, before powering down the long straights where speeds exceed 300km/h.
Typically held in September / October, the mild autumn conditions in Istanbul provide a comfortable and enjoyable experience for both drivers and spectators. Istanbul's reputation as one of the world's great cities speaks for itself, and the return of Formula 1 to its streets has only added to the extraordinary atmosphere that this remarkable destination naturally commands. While each of our Turkish Grand Prix Packages comes with a pre-defined grandstand ticket, we have created this Istanbul Park F1 Track Guide to help you choose an alternative.

Situated on the outer loop section of the track, you will have a grandstand view of the legendary Turn 8, widely regarded as one of the greatest corners in modern Formula 1. This vast four apex left hander demands enormous commitment and precision from every driver, with cars carrying extraordinary speed through each apex while battling the immense g forces generated through this iconic section. Silver 5 and Silver 6 are both positioned at Turns 9 and 10, making them an outstanding choice for fans who want to witness genuine wheel to wheel racing throughout the weekend. Positioned at the end of the back straight, you will watch cars flying past at speeds of around 350km/h before braking heavily into Turn 12, the slowest corner on the circuit and one of the most significant overtaking opportunities of the entire lap. The contrast between the raw speed of the straight and the extreme deceleration into the corner makes this one of the most visually exciting sections of Istanbul Park to watch from. With wheel to wheel battles for position a regular occurrence here throughout the race, Silver 7 guarantees plenty of action from start to finish. Giant screens ensure you remain fully connected to the rest of the race at all times.

From this grandstand you will watch drivers navigating the last technical challenge of the lap before unleashing full power down the pit straight, making every pass through this section crucial for lap time and race position. The exit of the final corner is always an exciting place to watch from, as drivers look to carry maximum speed onto the straight to set up overtaking opportunities into Turn 1. With the start and finish straight visible from higher seating positions, Silver 8 offers a well rounded view of the circuit that combines technical cornering action with the spectacle of the cars at full speed. Giant screens ensure you remain fully connected to the wider race action throughout the entire weekend.
