LOSAIL INTERNATIONAL CIRCUIT

Qatar F1 Track Guide
Opening in 2004 for the MotoGP, the Losail International Circuit in Qatar has been a popular venue for the two-wheeled event – a night race since 2007. Due to the cancellation of the Australian race in 2021 during the COVID-19 pandemic, the Losail circuit was added to the F1 calendar and won by Lewis Hamilton under lights, with Fernando Alonso taking his first podium with Alpine. Fresh off hosting the 2022 FIFA World Cup, Qatar have signed a 10-year contract to host an F1 race, and is set to join Abu Dhabi, Bahrain, and Saudi Arabia as another popular middle eastern F1 destination. The 2023 Qatar GP will be one of six races with the sprint format, meaning you will catch racing on two days over the weekend.
While each of our Qatar Grand Prix Packages comes with a pre-defined grandstand ticket, we’ve created this Qatar F1 Track guide to help you choose an alternative.

The highest priced option of the three main grandstands, Zone A is sat right on the start/finish line. A covered grandstand with giant screens visible, here you will be able to soak in all the pre and post-race antics as well as see the pit-lane. The longest straight on the circuit, turn 1 provides the best opportunity to witness overtaking between the cars. Behind these three grandstands is the main fanzone, where you will have plenty to do and see.
Cheaper priced than their neighbour, Zones B and C sit either side of Zone A. Zone B is closer to turn 1 with the podium and pit exit in clear sight, as well as great views of the braking zone into turn 1 – an experience you won’t want to miss on the opening lap of both Saturday and Sunday’s races. Zone C is closer to the final turn, and here you will be right on top of the starting grid as well as the beginning of the DRS zone on the start/finish straight. As with Zone A, the main fanzone and all major food and drink options are right on the doorstep of these stands.
The only grandstand on the circuit is the Losail Club. This grandstand gives you incredible views of the fast section of Turns 9 through 11. The Losail Club is sat on the inside of the track, and you will have a face on view of the cars under lights which makes for incredible photo opportunities. Watch in awe as the cars look like they are on rails through this section, with giant screens and access to the Sports Lounge right next to the stand included.
As the Qatar Grand Prix from Doha is a new event, we are unable to outline a provisional shedule based on the previous year.
